• Pray for discipleship.  That we will read the bible everyday.

John 1:1-5.  Years of waiting, finally heaven broke its silence to send to us the Savior.   Jesus in John 1 is described as the light who shines away darkness.   

John 1:6-7, 15.   Those whom he called are lights as well as Jesus have said, You are the light of the world....  Yes! Jesus is the greater light and we are the lesser ones.  Nonetheless, just as His light dispel darkness so does ours.   

Give examples of what it means for your light to dispel darkens around you?

• Pray for confession.  Forgive Lord in times when I was the light and I was not bold to share and make a difference in someone's life.
